Loving and devoted Husband to Vera Dad to Reggie, Barbara, Micheal, Mark, Jon and Julie. A wonderful Grandad and Father-in-law. He was a hard working man who enjoyed going to the pub now and again, he was a well known and loved man.
Grandad you was a wonderful man a true inspiration I talk about you alot and love hearing all the stories about you I am proud to call you my Grandad.
You left this world on the 1st of December 2001, you had been feeling unwell for a few days, then Uncle Micheal phoned mum and said that you had been rushed to Kings College hospital. Mum rushed up there the minute she got off the phone I waited up till she came home and she told me you had a stroke and that we could go and see you the next day. The next morning I got ready and went to get you a get well soon card and birthday card. Then we left to meet Uncle Reggie, Auntie Barbara Uncle Jon and Uncle Micheal in the pub. Uncle Reggie and me came to see you he said to the doctor give it to me straight then the doctor replied and said that you didn't have long then I burst out crying so hard I couldn't stop Uncle Reggie gave me his hanky and cuddled me trying to hold back his tears. When everyone came I came and gave you a kiss on your head and told you I love you, you had your eyes shut but you knew everyone was there. Then Dad and Uncle Mark sat with you. You had a heart attack and squeezed Dad's handi so hard, at 6.02pm you went to join Nan in heaven to look after us all together. then when I looked up at the sky that night I saw two stars and I knew you was with Nan and that you was happy and was watching us from heaven xxxxx
Its that time of year again, I really dont like the 1st of december, Its been 9 years today and i remember it like yesterday. I miss u so so much. love u lots and lots xxxx
I miss you so so much there barely a day that goes by when I don't think about. Especially when the sun is shining and how you would sit in the garden and and fall asleep. Look after everyone for me I love you so much sleep tight xxxxxxx
